habe hier einen kleinen erfahrungsbericht zum thema Combo Laufwerke.

haben mir vor 2 wochen ein samsung 332 combo für 90¬ bei saturn gekauft und was soll ich sagen es läuft wunderbar mit einem G4/800 mit 10.2. habe mir allerdins auch auf www.xlr8yourmac.com den dazugehörigen patch besorgt.

Ja, auch mein LG-Combo wurde auch erst durch eines dieser Patches zum "Vollwertigen".

Vielleicht sollte man Apple mal ´ne Liste mit allen verfügbaren Laufwerken mailen, damit sie hier für Abhilfe sorgen können. Ist ja eigentlich deren Problem, nicht unseres.

suche noch einen patch oder zumindest ein herstellerspezifisches device-plugin für NEC-brenner. Ich hab bislang nichts gefunden. Gibts da deines wissens was?

hast du zufällig Infos wie's mit den Treibern für Freecom-Brenner (FW, Portable) aussieht? Auf der Seite, von der du die Links gepostet hast, gibts nix für Freecom und beim Support werde ich nicht wahrgenommen. (Verdammter Shiet!!!)

Freecom? Funtzen die nicht ohne irgendwelches dazutun?

Bei Freecom und manchen anderen ist das das Problem, dass die ja keine eigenen Geräte herstellen (Formac), sondern nur Laufwerke verbauen. Somit ist es schwierig, Treiber zu finden. In jedes Drive muss nicht unbedingt das gleiche LW eingebaut worden zu sein (siehe Apple, die verbauen auch was sie gerade billigst abgestaubt haben).

Suche noch immer nen iTunes Treiber für den firewire Freecom 40/10/40!

Most of the Firewire case kit bridges now are based on the Oxford 911 bridge which is usually set to "auto" detect the drive type (Hard drive or CD/CDRW, etc. drive). However verify this before buying and again make sure the case will fit a 5.25" (CD size) drive and has an open face/removable plate front bezel if you're planning on using it for a CD/CDRW/DVD, etc. drive instead of a hard drive.

prüf mal deine FW-Bridge, sollte den (aktuellen) Oxford911 Chipsatz haben. ist´s nicht, sieht´s nicht gut aus.
