1. Liebe Forumsgemeinde,

    aufgrund der Bestimmungen, die sich aus der DSGVO ergeben, müssten umfangreiche Anpassungen am Forum vorgenommen werden, die sich für uns nicht wirtschaftlich abbilden lassen. Daher haben wir uns entschlossen, das Forum in seiner aktuellen Form zu archivieren und online bereit zu stellen, jedoch keine Neuanmeldungen oder neuen Kommentare mehr zuzulassen. So ist sichergestellt, dass das gesammelte Wissen nicht verloren geht, und wir die Seite dennoch DSGVO-konform zur Verfügung stellen können.
    Dies wird in den nächsten Tagen umgesetzt.

    10.3 läuft auf meinem mit einer Encore/ST 800 aufgepeppelten G 4 ohne Probleme. Heute erhielt ich von Sonnettech auch einen bestätigenden newsletter!

    Sonnet is pleased to announce that all Sonnet solutions designed to work with platforms supported by Panther will continue to work in those platforms with this exciting new system release from Apple. These products include:

    - Encore/ST G4 CPU upgrades, all speeds and models
    - Encore/ZIF G3 and G4 CPU upgrades compatible with G3 Blue & White
    - HARMONi G3 CPU upgrades, all speeds
    - Tempo ATA PCI adapter cards, all speeds and models
    - Tango USB/FireWire PCI adapter cards, all speeds and models
    - Piccolo USB Flash Drives, all capacities
    - Allegro FireWire PCI adapter cards, all models
    - Aria extreme wireless network products, all models

    Panther Drops Support for Beige and Wall Street Macs
    Users must note that Panther has dropped support for two popular Macintosh product lines: the Beige G3 (all models, including the mini-tower, desktop, server and all-in-one) and the PowerBook G3 Wall Street series (all models). Sonnet does plan to announce a new version of its Sonnet X Install software to support these platforms very soon. These users are advised to continue using Jaguar (system 10.2.x) until that time.
