Neuinstallation bleibt hängen

Hab ne mögliche Lösung gefunden. Bin grad am probieren. Scheint soweit mal hauptsächlich an den .DS_Store Files zu liegen (auf alles andere bin ich ja von selbst schon gekommen)

Takes a long while so give yourself plenty of time.

1. Run Disk First Aid/ Nortons/TechTools or whatever you have.
2. Delete the Applications, System and Library folders. I also delete my Users folder you might want to try just renaming it if you have a lot installed. I went for broke...wanted a total clean start.
3. Delete mach, Mach.sym and Mach Kernel
4. Empty Trash (get a cup of coffee while you wait )
5. Run ResEdit (downloadable at tucows.com or zdnet.com/mac/download.html)- Choose Get File/Folder info from the file menu and navigate to your Macintosh HD
6. Find the files for OSX, get info and turn off the invisible check box, close window click ok. These files are mach_kernel, Volumes, Network and all unix directories tmp, var, bin, private, usr, .Trash, dev, cores, etc, sbin, .DS_Store, .hidden, .vol (any other starting with a ".") The ones in italic ex: cores, etc, tmp, and var can be made visible is you check use alias instead of original. Note: look inside other folders..noticed a .DS_Store in OS 9 app folder and a couple other places. Now that these files are visible throw them in the trash and empty (get a 2nd cup of coffee..takes a while) You are now OSX free!!!!!
7. Boot up with the 10.0 CD. Run disk first add on the installer before proceeding. Varify and repair if needed. Then install X. Bingo. I am now up to 10.1.3 afraid to go to 10.1.5 with all the known network problems it seems to have. Waiting a bit.

PS: konnte die Grossen Daten nicht stuffen, weil der nach 30 min. meldete, dass er nur 2 GB komprimieren könne!
